Introduction:

Livia Nohr is a documentary photographer drawn to work, place, and the quiet rituals of everyday life. Her projects often follow communities over time, looking for the small visual patterns that reveal how people care for spaces, tools, and one another. She works with natural light and minimal intervention, allowing the structure of a story to emerge through repetition, atmosphere, and trust. Livia’s photographs resist dramatic conclusions; instead, they gather evidence of ordinary resilience. Her practice moves between editorial assignments and long-form personal work, with a particular focus on creative labor, coastal environments, and intergenerational memory. She approaches documentary photography as a collaboration built slowly and respectfully.
